i'm wanting to breed my female to sundown black bow and was wondering what kinda traits he throws, specifically hunt and size. I've heard that he sometimes throws over 15 inch dogs which i could live with if they were hard hunters and had good line control

I just don't like the unreliability also, and forget about trialing if your dog pops off on mice, you'd minus out in a heartbeat. very hard to tell the difference and i dont wanna correct'em while they're on a rabbit. thanks for the help guys. time will tell.

how do you suggest a guy goes about breaking his dogs off of rats/mice? It's very hard to tell the difference between workin a hard trail of a rabbit or just running a rat but i know my female does it and i don't want my pup to pick up the same habit. any suggestions? thanks, Jon
