Re: TICKS/FRONTLINE-ADVANTAGE-TERMIDOR
WHOA--- Termidor.... the termite spray.. someone send me a link to the product they buy and how its used!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE Why? Has someone had some problems? Termidor's active ingredient is Fipronil at 9.1%, slighty weaker compared to Frontline at 9.8%. I have done a lot of research and come to t...

Re: wondering about warranty info on garmin dc 30 collars
Just tell them the collar is not working properly and you need to send it in for repairs. Even out of warranty it is cheaper for them to "fix" it than to buy a new one on your own. If you have have the collar less than a year (and registered it for warranty) it will be a free replacement. If over a ...

Re: Frontline Plus Guys. Step in here
I also want to add that I have spoken with Termidor Customer Service about their product. Posing as a termite infested homeowner doing research, I wanted to know what the other 90.9% of ingredients are in the product (Termidor is 9.1% Fipronil, Frontline is 9.8%). As I suspected (since they are not ...

Re: Frontline Plus Guys. Step in here
B-MAN, Is this stuff really safe to use on dogs and if I get the 20oz bottle for $61.00 how many cc do I apply to adult beagles? I suggest that you do your own research to determine if it is safe. All I can say is that the active ingredient is as safe as Frontline. As Rabbitsmoker stated, Termidor ...

Re: Frontline Plus Guys. Step in here
well if your going to use frontline plus the recommended usage on dogs is .0305ml per lb i usually give a 25lb beagle 4 to 5 cc's Do you mean you use 4/5ths of a cc? You are right with the .0305 per pound, but 25 lbs X .0305 = .7625 cc If you are giving 4 or 5 cc's to one dog that is way overkill, ...

Re: Frontline Plus Guys. Step in here
Yes. It works fantastic on ticks!! The Fipronil in Termidor is the main ingredient in Frontline. The percentage is almost identical. Methoprene is the "Plus" in Frontline Plus. It is a junvenile growth hormone regulator for fleas. All that means is any flea eggs that hatch are "tricked" into staying...

Re: Frontline Plus Guys. Step in here
For you guys with a lot of hounds, or to split with a buddy, you have to check this out!! You can treat a dog for WAAYYYYY less than frontline. I just ordered the Termidor, fleas aren't bad here, so I think I will skip the methoprene. It is the same ingredients as Frontline, to make it Frontline Plu...

Re: Dog Box
Mine sits on top of the bed rail. I have it bolted down on the sides. For your box a couple of self-tappers through the floor into the bed would do the trick ;) The doors are also lockable. Keeps the honest people honest.........My worst fear was coming back to the truck to find a dog missing from t...

Re: New Dog Box (lots of pics :) ) UPDATED
Do you have a way to cut off the air flow for the winter months? I know you said the vents will slide shut but do you think the slat bottom will leave too much air flow when it's super cold in the winter???..........especially on a long trip? Next fall I will roll a rubber mat down length wise in t...

Re: New Dog Box (lots of pics :) ) UPDATED
Nice job but just a little curious on the wood slats in the bottom of the box. Never seen a dog box built that way. Seems like it might encourage them to poop in the box ? I think that if I had my dogs in above ground kennels that it could be a problem (they are on the ground all of the time.) So I...

Re: New Dog Box (lots of pics :) )
Thats a good looking box! only question i have and i know you just built it but in a tight spot do you think that not being able to see out your back window may be aggrevating? Keep us posted after you use it a few times and tell us the pros and cons iknow you can use your side mirrors but i like m...

New Dog Box (lots of pics :) ) UPDATED
Here are some more pics since it was finished. It has lockable doors as well as panels that slide in and out for the cold weather months. Making sure there is adequate ventilation  http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg50/b-man715/P1000267.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg50/b-man715...

Re: Hare and Cottontail
To all the guys that will talk about the Hard condictions of running the Hare on snow.....think if it was a Cottontail in the same conditions ( same location) with even less scent. I myself think that it is whatever your dogs are used to running. Here in Wisconsin we have snow all winter (and...
