I have never been to a trial before so I don't know a whole lot about them. In the LP and PP styles what speed of dogs are the best? Any other info on these stlyes would be helpful.

The bluetick and redtick lines are what I am most interested in but any info is great. I have three pups that are heavy Gunsmoke bred on top and the dam is a grand daughter of Blue Back.

I have never heard any one say a whole lot about the gunsmoke bred hounds out there. If you have ever hunted with any Gunsmoke dogs, own one, or have seen one run tell me what you think.

Has anyone heard of this dog. There was a kennel in KY that was called Cumberland River Kennel and I tried to call but the phone line was no longer in service. If someone can give me some info on this dog or the owner of this dog or the owner of Cumberland River Kennels that would be great.

I keep my hounds on the dirt and the only reason I do is because the price of concrete is so high. If I would ever have the money I would build a concrete kennel.

It is the ads that say Gunsmoke tri female and Gunsmoke bred Bluetick and Tri males. I had a female blueick pup but I deleted her pic off of the ad because I have her sold. I can e-mail you a pic if you want to see her.

I can't figure out how to put pics on here but I have pics of them on beagles for sale online.

Hey guys I am TickedDogs brother. My female is doing great and the pups are eating fine. Shouldn't be any problem weaning them. Now I can't wait to get her dried up and start running her again. Thanks for the concern everyone.

What do you guys clip them off with and what does the vet use. How old is to old to clip them off.

I quit running my pregnant female a week and a half before she was due. This is my first litter I have raised. She didin't have a bit of trouble having her 7 pups. Just my two cents

I agree. If it is a black and tan there should be no white at all or a little white on the dogs chest. That is what I call a black and tan. I have heard people call certian dogs bluetick with just a few ticks around its neck and up the dogs legs. Thats my thoughts.
