This is all pretty subjective...depending on what someone likes. I like a smooth running hound that can get it done whenever and wherever..(not just look like a world beater on certain days and is more concerned about the race than the rabbit..) here are some hounds that have produced what I like......

Hell Justin, just come and get my trashbreakers......I don't foresee a need for them for awhile. You're more than welcome to use 'em...!

I could care less how many hounds somebody wants to run, but other than getting them some exercise, I can't see getting any hound work done when there's over 5-6 beagles......

any advice on how to get more out of the hunters/handlers..? 5-6 hours of tromping around the brush, and I am spent..! I'm seriously thinking about cutting down on the fried food and cold beer, that nutrition angle really hit home..!

I think it's important to solo a young hound to fully develop it's potential, but also run it with the pack so it becomes a team player. I don't want any "me too" pack-only hounds, they should all be able to jump/run their own rabbit and work well within the pack....
