3 year old unregistered bluetick female
I have a 3 year old, 15", unregistered bluetick beagle female for sale. She has a great mouth, opens quick, good nose, straight, handles like a dream but looks better with company then she does alone. I paid $300 for her 4 1/2 months ago after seeing her run. ( I will give you the phone number of th...

Re: Great Day with the Girls!!!
"We" decided to stay home today and not run. 3 degrees when we woke up this morning and -17 with the windchill. I think "we" made a good choice, lol. wd

Re: Great Day with the Girls!!!
Keeping the kids in the woods is key, and having a great time while your out there is even more important!!! Took my 10 year old daughter up "Nawth" again today with a couple of friends. The running was tough but my daughter stuck with me 100% of the time. (Even the other adults were commenting on h...

Great Day with the Girls!!!
Just wanted to say I had a wonderful day of hare hunting with my 10 year old daughter. A good friend of mine came along for the trip with his 13 year old daughter as well. We left the house at 6:am sharp and made the 2 hour trip "Nawth" to try and get one of the girls to "shoot a bunny". Although th...

Re: HAND HELD GPS???
I purchased a Garmin E-Trex a month or so ago after hunting in unfamiliar territory and feeling lost, it works pretty well. I always carry a compass but sometimes after hunting in extremely thick cover and walking multiple circle you begin to wonder... So far the E-Trex is enough to get me in and ge...

Re: Starting in the snow
Ky.Hunter, we're suppose to have somewhere around 26 inches of snow by Sunday night. The pup I bought from you should be here this friday, guess we're going to see what he's made of in a hurry!!!

Re: New to forum
Welcome aboard, new to this board myself. I've been around hounds my entire life in one way or another, beagles as a kid and coonhounds for the last 25 years. Back into beagles now, look forward to your posts. wd

Re: Keeping Them Alive
The last "winter litter" of pups I had I brought my female inside the garage. Built a 4 panel portable kennel with a raised plywood floor, put the heat lamp to them and they did great. Keep them warm, dry and out of the wind, they'll do great.

Re: "Color Phases" of Beagles & Registry questions
Thats cool, for some reason (now that I am older and wiser, lol) I seem to have more interest in the bluetick beagle. When I decided to get back into beagles I went hunting with a few that were for sale and were bred up real nice that had papers "to prove it". They all were good rabbit dogs but the ...

Re: "Color Phases" of Beagles & Registry questions
crittergitter I couldn't agree with you more. You and I think alot alike. Back in 1973 (when I was 6) and started hunting rabbits with my grandfather(until I was about 15) I couldn't tell you if they were registered or not, knowing my grandfather, they weren't but they were always tri-colored. Guess...

"Color Phases" of Beagles & Registry questions
As a kid (a long time ago, lol) I don't remember beagles being any color other than tri-colored or at least close to it. How and where did all the bluetick and black & tan beagles come? I'm assuming someone started crossing coonhounds with beagles somewhere along the line? Do all registries recogniz...

Re: anyone fed joy?????????
Agree with oceanguy. I won a bag one time, tried to feed it to the coonhounds but had to clean kennels 24/7, gross. Put it in a feeder and the coons wouldn't even touch it, gross!!! jmo
