Re: ear mites & yeast infection

Well, first of all, how do you know it's a yeast infection? T-8 Keto Ear cleaner (flush) will keep your dog from getting yeast infections if you clean the ears once in a while. It costs 20 bucks for a 12 oz bottle which will last you many years. Depending upon the infection, it may or may not clear ...

Re: Old dog

Please, call the local humane society, animal shelter, whatever...tell them you are broke and have a sick dog that needs to be put to sleep. If you seriously can't come up with the money to humanely euthanize your dog, PM me by tomorrow with your contact information. I'll find someone within 10 mile...

Re: Young Willie Female with Abscess (Need Advice)

If this is draining puss then it probably is not a cancer tumor. Is this abcess actually in the females chest or on one of her breast? Is it a hard knot or kind of spongey? Re: Cut Pad

Do not use superglue on a cut pad. You are asking for an abscess. If it's cut deep, it needs veterinary care because it needs to be probed for foreign objects. This needs to be done under at least local anasthetic. They'll likely drop a couple sutures in it at that point as well as some nitrofurazon...

Re: CUTTING KENNEL COSTS AND MEDICINE

Frontline/Advantage/Advantix/etc are all sold by weight, but the actual dose is calculated for the average surface area of dog if that makes sense. So, you can't take a Frontline for 85 lbs and split it between four 20 lb dogs....you can actually split it six ways. The beauty is, they give you a nic...

Re: Soft Stool

fed good is a bit vague. get a small bag of Hill's I/D from your vet. Feed him JUST the I/D for ten days, then slowly switch back over to the other food, mixing a little. One of my guys had soft stool for a month, ran bloodwork, whole nine yards. Finally he crapped out a wad of grass and sticks that...

Re: Loosing hair?

gonna agree with tickedblue on the demodectic mange All dogs carry these mange mites, they look like little cigars with legs under the microscope. Normally, a dogs immune system is strong enough to ward off infection. After whelping, the bitch might be a little stressed and let them get the best of ...
