Re: The Gray Scale
I really like Mr. Lane's articles. I met him when a bunch of us beaglers met to run in Coshocton, Oh and ended up getting a pup from him. On the Laneline website is a copy of the article and the evaluation chart to go with the article. According to him, Elmer Gray, Willet Randall, Frank Reese and LM...

Any New Years “Beagle” Resolutions?
Run more, gun hunt more, trial more, spend less…lol… or finally try that bloodline that you have always wanted to? I was bogged down with work all year and didn’t do hardly any of the running that I wanted to and that my dogs deserved. Plus, I had a new girlfriend for 10 months of the last 12. She i...

How far back does a dog in a pedigree affect your dog?
I was just wondering how far back in any pedigree do most breeders consider a dog can be relevent to their breeding. Or, when does it reach a point that a particular dog does not affect a litter of pups because of the other dogs inbetween the breedings. I read where Mrs. Kyrpan {from Branko Kennels}...

So, who got the best deals in the Auction?
I have read a little bit of who got what in the Auction, which was a great idea and from what I seen raised a good amount. The fellows on this board really came through for those in need.
But I have not heard anybody brag on the deals they got. So who feels they got the deal of the century?

AKC "Mid-West" Results
Can anybody tell me where I can view the results of Mid-West trial results “in detail”? A while ago on a site that I can’t remember, they posted the results, names of dogs entered and pictures of the winners pack. The sites I have went to only have results from a few months ago. Any links?

Re: Looking for 16 Inch or Over Rabbit Dog!
Hello, if you’re still looking for an “oversized” beagle, Mr. Larry Perry has one in Huntington, WV. It is a male directly out of Jasper and a Northway Spur female. He is under 2 years old and was gun hunted this past fall/winter.

Re: Most proven stud dog on the ground as of today
By percentages alone, who has produced the best? Its not really fair to compare a dog that has been bred 80 times to a dog that has been bred 20 times and try to say one has produced more champions or better dogs. What about the number or % of culls they produced? And like the other person said, the...

Any Luck? I know a friend told me most will call the number on the collar but some will throw the collars away and take the dog to the nearest animal shelter.
