Back problem?

Hi Folks, I have a 4 year old male that seems to have something going on with his legs or back. He walks with his back "humped up", and has some trouble with his rear legs. He doesn't like to be touched on the backs of his rear legs. No falls, or other trauma that I am aware of. He is eating, and dr...

Re: Quick clip of my slow hounds..

That lead dog is from redman, he's a monster. The other three are grade black and tan dogs our family has kept for about 50 years. They have some blackjack, and older branko blood. Just good all around hounds. The red dog pushes the others sometimes, but they can slow down when they have to. They do...

Re: heart worm?

You can stop heartworm(hw) treatment whenever you want, but then your pet is exposed to hw infection. It works like this, hw meds will stick with a dog for about 35 to 40 days. If the dog is infected during this time, the hw larvae die. No problem. Without meds, after an infected mosquito bites your...

Re: Hillbilly looking for new home

East Tennessee is a really pretty place to live. No state income tax, low cost of living, more bluegrass music than you can shake a stick at. We play a little football and basketball around here also. It gets a bit windy with Kentucky bordring us to the north, but it's not so bad. Lots of bunnies, b...

Re: Wick Jacket

May cost more, but if you buy a Mule clothing, it will be the last you buy, unless you change size. Best stuff I ever saw for upland game of any kind. I've never had a single briar get through. Can't wear it out. If you ask nicely, they will even do custom work like transmitter pockets, etc. for you...

Re: Ivermectin use

Vets recommend meds like Heartguard for heartworm prevention used once a month. Heartguard, as an example, contains ivermectin as the primary ingredient. It's not very difficult to get a correct dosage of ivermectin from the ingredient list of any heartworm preventative. I can't see how it is safer ...

Info on Harrogate Trial Sep 20th

I'm interested in the Harrogate KTV LP trial this weekend. Where is the trial held? Does anyone have directions to the club?

Thanks,

Flatpick.

Re: lp hunt London, KY 8-30-08

If a man wanted to come to this hunt and didn't know anything about trials, or didn't know anyone at the event, when should he arrive at the club house, and what should he do? I showed up once to one of your events at about 7:00am and got there just in time to watch everyone leave for the first cast...
