I'd call the vet and talk it over. Just a couple cents from an old guy with the wrong breed.

Everyone else has already said it, but I, too, have had it for years and enjoyed it very much. Besides, if it comes from KY it should be assumed to be quality from the outset.

Would this be a job for a sighthound, eg. Saluki?

I moved here to GA from NE Maine and Dixie dogs is spot on up there. Feral cats were the worst, followed by Coyotes. When Loring AFB closed down, hundreds of cats were left behind. Some dogs just do it. They develop a taste for it. But more often, it's due to it NOT being working season and not getting as much exercise. And some dogs are just NASTY!

Had a false pregnancy once, too. The girl, swelled up, nested, did the whole bit. But she was as empty as a politician's promise.

I don't think she's pregnant. Bred a few sleddog litters over the years and she doesn't look preggers.
