I think it was at Sandy Creek B.C. in NY. The seasoned beagler that was there said Jack was quite a bit smoother than Heli-prop. But Jack was a bit older than Prop also.

mobeagle, it's just what i enjoy. I wouldn't call it me toeing it's honoring the pack. Why would anyone run 10 or more hounds? BECAUSE it's awesome to hear and watch a pack of compatible hounds run its game. I run 99% in the large pack on hare trials and hunt 99% hare, usually 6-8 hounds. We forget our hounds are pack hounds. I don't have time to solo hounds and own 4-6 at a time. I s...

i have personally seen my friends ct raising pen and he uses pallets with old rubber roofing on top to keep the nest dry. Just stating a fact. I don't have any Reggie blood, i have one of the other better beagling top sires 5 out of 6 hounds in my kennel. I Judged Reggie a few years back in Maine at the Large Pack on Hare Champion of Champions where he took 2nd.,nice running hound. The hound that won was FC Babbit's Smoker(won it twice) and NlPC/FC Nemasket's Big Spring took 3rd. He ran where ever they dropped him, very impressive. Campbell

got one of those big nosed and more often than not big mouthed male, but HE can run in the dry powder. That's what saves him.
