Re: 20 month 15 inch tri color male(PICS ADDED)
I've hunted over this dog for the last 4 months and everything that he says is true. This dog is strong in the check, but also has the ability to run front and hold it. If your looking for a fast hound to push your pack, THIS IS THE DOG!! He is a little shy to start but will handle great anyway. Fai...

Re: Heat cycle question.
My friends two dogs came into heat at almost the same (I'm talking a day or two of each other). After we had them bred the one went back to her old cycle, and the other came back in almost six months to the day after the pups were born. I think it just depends on the dog.

Re: Season Finally!
Kyle shot one twice about the last of january, it was running up the path at him try'n to head the dogs off. If it was the same one that we tracked on the way in, its feet are bigger than my big males. (he's almost 16inch,and has a foot the size of a walker..lol)

Re: How would you handle it
Best dog I ever had died from it 2yrs ago. Had the vet pumping fluids into him for four days, then had to put him down. Hardest thing I've ever had to do. Take him to the vet and make sure thats what it is. If it is dont let him suffer.bg

Re: pic of aera i run my dogs
Do you pack a gun when your running dogs? If seasons in i do, killed a fox and two bob cats last season. Dogs go in a patch and start running a rabbit and out they come. To bad it wasnt on the same trip that would have made a great pic. Looks like it would hold grouse too.

Re: Yotes at my running grounds.....
Try snares. We've used them here with great success. We have caught a couple coon dogs but if a dog has been lead broke, when they feel snare tighten around its neck, they quit pulling and sit down. Wish ya the best.bg
