It's just Richard, if you don't mind. I understand what you are saying now. Seems to me that this guy needs to be confronted in a more serious way. I have no use for these kinda people. If this is a problem, and it happens often, and the UKC gets enough complaints, the bells should go on HIS hounds....

Re: How is it a Bell used as a cheatin' locater device? UKC

I was wondering how a bell is used to cheat at a beagle trial and I cant seem to figure out how this would interfear with the huntin'. I can think of several plus marks for but no good ones for the not list..1)Would help keep track of dogs to determine the point of the loss so the cast can find the...

From the short clip, I would have to say the pup was better. Front hound made the loss but the pup cleaned up without missing a beat. I would solo the pup. Is the pup for sale?

My hounds have always run the best in fresh snow. Don't let the temperature fool you. I have seen days that are 40 degrees Fahrenheit that the hounds couldn't hold a track , and days around zero that they pounded. The older the snow is, it seems to get a little tougher to run. You never know until y...

I would have to ask the same question as timberdoodle. Any porcupines in the area? They are known for chewing plywood, for the glue in it. Salt would be a bonus.

Thanks m_ skin for the info. Makes perfect sense to me, if you can't keep them in shape you are just wasting time and money. I have heard nothing but good about Winston as a Snow Hound :)

Pete Richardson in Northern Vermont has a guide service for Snowshoe Hare. Very reasonably price, and has good success. You can't go wrong. :D

Robert W. Mccoy Jr, I agree with you. This just gets uglier as time goes on. Ego is a hard thing to live with, and sometimes, may cost you what you value most. Sounds to me that you both have good dogs, enjoy they. :)
