Cushings
My dog's liver values have been elevated for some time. He's been on Marin or equivalent suppliments for some time. The doctor wants to put him on Lysodren 500 mg for a week or however long it takes for him to react to find out what the maintenance amount should be. Is there a natural way to treat C...

Update
She had been in a scuffle with another female I own. Our vet checked her thoroughly and believes she tore a muscle in the fracus. It could also be disc disease. The steroids and muscle relaxers she's taking seem to have done the trick.

Allergic reaction?
My beagle came in from our suburban yard and has very red eyes. The pupil and iris seem to be focused in an unusual manner which could best be described as the opposite of "cross-eyed." It looks like an allergic reaction to me. I use no pesticides, but do have an extensive grape arbor which attracts...

Phenob
I know that Phenobarbital will eventual damage my little boy's liver. I wanted to stick with what is natural to avoid as much "collateral damage" as possible. I'm really pleased with the results I'm getting with Gingko Biloba. I haven't seen his seizures this mild before. I like to check every so of...

Epilepsy again
My 6 year old beagle has had epilepsy since he was approximately 2. His seizures were only happening 2 - 3 times a year. In January this year they started coming 2 times per month. I put him on Gingko Biloba which seemed to lessen the frequency and the seizures he does have are much milder. He weigh...

Lethargic and painful looking
My beagle ate very heartily tonight but I have had him on Deter Coprophagia Treatment. He threw up feces a couple days ago. I was wondering if he could be having a reaction to the treatment. He has suddenly become lethargic and appears to be in some pain.

Dear Asti, Have you used some of the products listed on Purelypets.com? It looks like a couple of products might be good for Worf, EpiPlus and one of the selections of more natural dog food. I'm not sure that these products will control his seizures but hope that if I invest in them that they will l...

Canine Epilepsy
I have a 5 year old beagle whose epilepsy seems to have gone from 2-3 seizures a year to 2 per month. Although those 2 per month are milder than the 2 -3 he use to get a year, I would rather put him on natural supplements or herbs to help control his condition instead of the traditional drug therapy...

Sneezing
The dogs are in my house unless they are doing their duty outside. It isn't a deep rasping cough but rather a sneeze that humans get when they have a cold. They sneeze a lot in the morning. They have been sleeping substantially under warm blankets at night.

Sneezing
My beagles are sneezing a great deal lately. They have not been away from home and so not exposed to anything that I can think of. Any ideas what could be the causing of all their sneezing?
